Spot Bitcoin ETFs Attract Nearly $1 Billion in Inflows
Written with artificial intelligence.

On Monday, spot Bitcoin ETFs in the U.S. recorded inflows of $998.95 million, marking the ninth-largest influx since they began trading in January 2024. This surge coincided with Bitcoin's price reaching its highest level since January.
Significant Inflows into Bitcoin ETFs
On Monday, Bitcoin (BTC) saw a substantial inflow into spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs), totaling $998.95 million. This marks the largest inflow since October 6, 2025, and the ninth-largest since the ETFs were introduced on January 11, 2024, according to data from SoSoValue.
The inflow was largely driven by BlackRock's IBIT, which brought in $381.37 million, followed by Ark's ARKB at $289.12 million and Fidelity's FBTC at $238.84 million. This uptick comes as Bitcoin's price surged by 44% this quarter, reaching $85,000, outperforming other major assets like gold.
Despite the positive inflows, spot ETFs are still down by $450 million year-to-date, indicating that while there is institutional interest, challenges remain. The inflow for September has reached $1.31 billion, building on August's inflow of $3.52 billion, reflecting ongoing confidence in cryptocurrency despite macroeconomic pressures, including fiscal debt concerns and recent interest rate increases by the Federal Reserve.
Bitcoin's robust performance and the significant inflows into ETFs demonstrate a renewed interest from institutional investors, even following setbacks such as the failed Senate cloture vote on the Clarity Act.
