Solana ETFs Attract Record $188 Million in Inflows Last Week

Last week, U.S. spot Solana exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a record inflow of $188 million, with Bitwise's BSOL capturing approximately two-thirds of this amount. The surge included a daily record intake of $87 million on Friday alone.

U.S. spot Solana exchange-traded funds made headlines last week by attracting a remarkable $188 million in inflows. Bitwise's BSOL led the charge, accounting for about $128 million of the total, while all seven funds in the group reported positive inflows.
On Friday, the funds experienced their best day yet, adding roughly $87 million, which is the largest single-day intake since their launch. Bitwise's BSOL alone brought in $56 million, with Grayscale's GSOL following with $19 million.
The inflows highlight the growing interest in Solana as a viable investment option. These spot ETFs offer investors exposure to SOL without the complexities of managing a cryptocurrency wallet. Net inflows are calculated by subtracting withdrawals from total money entering the funds.
Bitwise continues to dominate the market, with its BSOL product representing approximately $1.2 billion of the combined $1.6 billion in net inflows across the group, or about 76% of the total. Meanwhile, U.S. Bitcoin ETFs also saw significant interest, accumulating about $2.4 billion last week, while ether products added roughly $690 million.
In conjunction with this financial momentum, Solana developers are testing an upgrade called Alpenglow, aimed at significantly speeding up transaction finality from approximately 12.8 seconds to around 150 milliseconds, although a launch date has yet to be confirmed.
